Meet The Oh Collective Co-Founder, Media Queen, and Part-Time Model Diana Lin!
You asked, and we answered.
You asked, and we answered. In the coming series, we will introduce our four co-founders of The Oh Collective: Diana Lin, Eden Chiang, Simona Xu, and Winxi Kan!
They are not business partners but also a #girlsquad of best friends that travel, work, and party together.
Eden, Diana, Simona, and Winxi first met as colleagues at a Fortune 500 Company, and now, five years later, they have successfully launched The Oh Collective!
What's more, they are #JustLikeYou.
When the four best friends first decided to start The Oh Collective, their vision was to create products and foster a community of like-minded women willing to explore the realm of female intimate health and wellness.
Learn more about Diana and her upbringing, some fun facts, and her experience as a co-founder of The Oh Collective.

Best piece of advice for The Oh Community:
Don't ever feel pressure to do things you're not ready for, and never be afraid to ask, do what is right for you.
Pixie or Kit?
Kit! I love the versatility it allows for exploring with yourself and a partner. It can stimulate different "Oh" zones separately but bend and stimulate two things simultaneously. Also, on a lazy day, Kit's length is long enough, so I don't need to reach far to get it where I want. The drastic variation of vibration settings is also great, as my body sensitivity varies depending on the month's time.
Diana, we know you've been balancing The Oh Collective with a full-time position at a corporate company. How have you managed your time, and what's one thing you've learned from having both roles at once?
I worked in an ad agency for most of my career, which has trained me to multitask in intense environments, which entailed gruelling hours. Moving to the brand side improved my work-life balance, allowing me to manage my time with The Oh Collective better.
It isn't to say it's all rainbows and butterflies. Still, my passion for it is the fuel that keeps me going and even taught me to be more mindful of potential burnout, remembering to give myself the downtime I need when I get it and ensuring I'm relieving stress with the facets that work for me.
A significant takeaway is utilising knowledge from both the start-up and the corporate side, appreciating its struggles and differences, and adding to my skill set of operating businesses at different scales.
What has been your favourite memory with Winxi, Eden, and Simona?
The bond and support system that we have created through this process. We’ve been able to help each other overcome tough work and personal challenges with no judgement.
What would you say is the biggest struggle you’ve faced as a team at The Oh Collective, and what’s one valuable thing you will cherish forever?
We're pretty hard on ourselves and have high expectations that can create anxieties. But that has also been valuable: learning to be patient, more mindful and focused on our purpose. Our market still lacks access to open platforms and resources to normalise such topics. So every success/milestone for us, big or small, has been worth celebrating.
There are so many things to cherish from this entire process, but one of them is the people we have met worldwide and the feedback after engaging with them. It was gratifying to know we have created such a robust support system for ourselves and that we can potentially help others be more confident or safe to share their most intimate selves openly.
What has your experience dating men been like, and what’s one dating takeaway you want to share with our community?
I’d say I’ve had a lot of adventures, good and bad, and my “taste” in men and definition of love has evolved throughout my life. Each experience has allowed me to know myself better, face my insecurities and become more confident in knowing what I can or cannot accept from my partners and myself. As I’ve gotten older, I also feel less worried about others worrying about what I don’t have and appreciating and loving what I do.
So my tip is not to worry about what society expects from you but to Do You and explore what drives your curiosity that can make you happy - you don’t need to force it because things will come eventually. It seems so obvious, but it’s easier said than done. And lastly, find the people that love you for you and support you; you don’t need to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders but know you are not alone, and there are women out there #JustLikeYou.
What has your experience been growing up around sexual wellness and sex toys? Who taught you, and where did you get your information from?
Growing up in North America, there were more open conversations about sex, but most of the information was shared through my close girlfriends, so not all we had learnt was factual but assumptions of what "others" say. So while I was exposed to similar topics, they never surrounded the empowering part of owning intimate pleasure or the importance of personal wellness.
It was more of "Have you done this before?" and “You're a prude if you haven't done it" and “You are promiscuous if you have too often". It creates misperceptions and insecurities when you are a young and impressionable teenager.
It has been so refreshing and positive to see that the narrative is, slowly but surely, changing, and we are very excited to be part of it.
