Ross developed Focus after treating patients who felt tired yet struggled to switch off. His aim was to support concentration on a single task. The patches use a scented herbal blend and placement inspired by acupuncture, making application a practical starting point for a reading or work session.
Ross J. Barr is a registered acupuncturist (BSc Hons, MBAcC) whose practice covers women’s health, fertility, stress and grief. His introduction to acupuncture was personal: after his father died suddenly, he sought treatment to help him cope with the loss. The experience led him to retrain as a practitioner.
He specialises in Five Element Acupuncture. In 2020, he launched his patch range to bring part of his approach into everyday routines beyond the treatment room. Herbal blends, scent and placement inspired by acupuncture are central to the range.
Apply a patch to each rear temple or to the back of your neck on clean, dry skin. Gently massage for one or two minutes to help release the herbs. Wear while working, studying or reading, following the wear guidance on your pack.
