The blend includes clove, cinnamon, menthol, camphor and capsicum extract. Ross developed Healing for local aches and discomfort, with herbal oils and a warming sensation as part of the experience. The rectangular shape covers a larger area than the small round Calm and Sleep patches.
Ross J. Barr is a registered acupuncturist (BSc Hons, MBAcC) whose practice covers women’s health, fertility, stress and grief. His introduction to acupuncture was personal: after his father died suddenly, he sought treatment to help him cope with the loss. The experience led him to retrain as a practitioner.
He specialises in Five Element Acupuncture. In 2020, he launched his patch range to bring part of his approach into everyday routines beyond the treatment room. Herbal blends, scent and placement inspired by acupuncture are central to the range.
Clean and dry the skin. Peel away one half of the backing and smooth the patch onto the area of discomfort, then remove the remaining backing and smooth down. Remove within six hours. Follow the pack’s limits of no more than three applications daily for seven days.
Apply directly to clean, dry, intact skin over the area of discomfort. Keep clear of the eyes and nose.
Do not combine Healing Patches with a heating pad. Avoid wearing them in direct sunlight.
Remove at least one hour before bathing, and do not apply immediately after a bath.
Use a fresh patch each time. Each pack contains five patches.
Healing is designed for local muscle aches and general discomfort, including period discomfort. Period is shaped for the lower back and specifically designed for menstrual comfort.

For external use only on intact skin. The brand lists use for adults and children above 12; consult a doctor for younger children. Ask a clinician before use if you have sensitive skin or ingredient allergies, or if pregnant or breastfeeding. Remove if irritation develops. Always follow the precautions on your pack.
